Content is easy for those who do not create content is something we often say at Sports Broadcast Media.

You simply sit behind a microphone, or in front of a camera, and record your thoughts, opinions, experiences, and then share your content on a platform for people to discover it.


Easy.


I wish it was. But the fact is, it isn't.


Content needs a purpose. A reason. It needs planning. It needs a strategy. It needs to know it's target customer. It needs to know how to reach them. It needs to know how to engage them. It needs to know how to keep them. It needs to know how to keep them coming back.


If it doesn't know these things then you stand the chance of your content being ignored. You will be creating content for the sake of creating content.

Before you create any content, ask this question first. What is the purpose, and who is it for?


And, more importantly, know the answer before you start.

And this is what keeps people engaged and will keep them coming back.
